Hindoli falls in Bundi district and Hadoti region of Rajasthan. In 2018, Ashok of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Omendra Singh Hada of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 30541 votes. He received 109, 958 votes whereas Hada got 79, 417 votes. Total 11 candidates contested for this seat in 2018. Ashok of INC was also the winner of this constituency in the year 2013. He got 77, 463 votes in 2013 elections and won by a margin of 18, 453. In 2008, Prabhu Lal of BJP won the election from this seat by securing 46, 123 votes. The winning margin was 6,080 votes. In 2003, Harilal of Indian National Congress won with a margin of mere 813 votes. In 1998, Rama Pilot of India National Congress won this seat with a margin of 15, 530 votes. She received 42, 499 votes There are a total of 2,46,776 voters in the seat, which includes 1,28,782 male voters, and 1,17,994 female voters.
