Young Taekwondo Prodigy Aims to Represent India on the Global Stage

At just 17 years of age, a rising Indian Taekwondo athlete is making a remarkable mark in martial arts through dedication, discipline, and years of relentless training. With 12 years of experience in Taekwondo, he is an international-level athlete who holds the prestigious 3rd Dan Black Belt, reflecting his technical expertise and commitment to the sport.

Despite his young age, he has earned over 100 medals throughout his sporting journey, including six National Gold Medals and two International Gold Medals. Having competed in three international competitions and seven to eight national-level championships, alongside numerous other tournaments, he continues to demonstrate his dedication to competitive Taekwondo. He also serves as a National Referee and National Judge of India, showcasing his understanding of the sport beyond competition. His achievements have received recognition from publications including Times of Bharat and Chamakta Rajasthan, among others.

Alongside his primary pursuit of Taekwondo, he has also achieved the Mr. Delhi title in bodybuilding, highlighting his versatility as an athlete. Accomplishing this while maintaining the demanding cardio, stamina, and endurance required for Taekwondo makes his bodybuilding achievement a distinctive part of his sporting journey. His success reflects his commitment to physical conditioning, perseverance, and continuous improvement beyond his primary discipline.

Beyond sports, he is also the son of Hanumant Kumar Pandey and belongs to the family behind S N PANDEY AND SON, a historic paan business established in 1943. The business has a long-standing legacy of serving customers for generations, with its paan reportedly reaching prestigious establishments, including the Prime Minister’s House. Balancing this family heritage with his demanding sporting ambitions reflects his dedication to both his roots and his future.

With ambitious goals for the future, he dreams of representing India at the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games. He also aspires to pursue opportunities through the Sports Authority of India and progress toward competing at the highest levels of international Taekwondo. Driven by his passion for martial arts and his determination to bring recognition to Indian sports, he continues to work tirelessly toward his ambitions.
